FAQs

What is competitive cheerleading?

Competitive cheerleading is a regulated sport comprised of different levels (1-4) of cheer teams based on age and ability which compete against each other. There are many requirements for each level. Teams perform a 2:30 routine comprised of cheer, tumbling, jumps, stunts, pyramids, and dance. We are strictly competitive cheer (no sideline) and not affiliated with Pop Warner, AYF, any football programs, or certain individuals from other programs. We kindly ask that false rumors and misinformation be put to rest.

How far do you travel to competitions?

All of our competitions take place in Florida. We make every effort to keep our competitions within a 1-5 hours travel time from our meeting location and go to as many 1 day competitions as we can so we can also cut down the cost of travel. There can be a competition that is over 4 hours and can be an overnight stay.

Parents pays for their own accommodations, food, travel expenses, and entrance fee for competitions.

Does being a competitive cheerleader mean that I have to spend a lot of money?

No, not at all. Our competitive cheer program has one registration fee or payments that goes towards competition uniform, jacket, custom competition bow, competition shoes, backpack, traveler uniform (tank and leggings), jersey, traveler bow, gym rental, two practice wear, and insurance. We fund raise for everything else for the cheer season (competition fees, accommodations, food, and more for our athletes and coaches).

When are practices?

More information to come after evaluations.
